This blog came into existence because of my fasination with photography and design, along with my passion for creative problem solving, and I suppose my borderline neurotic obsession with process and progression could have a little something to do with why I have this little ol’ blog here.
With the help of my daughter, Olive, I am nesting the 1950′s ranch home that I purchased in November 2009. Along with upholding to my devotion toward motherhood, I am pursuing the home-improvement and DIY projects that feed my artistic and creative needs/capabilities and sharing those experiences with you all here.

Awesome, thank you! Yes, we always get “Olive Oyl” or people want to think her name is Olivia. We actually ran across another, younger, little girl named Olive at the childwatch center at the YMCA in my own town! So that tells me the name Olive might just be one that’s up-and-coming.
